This volunteer submission was sent in by LE.  She says,  "This is an extremely rare wall mounted American Standard Sanistand found in the women's bathroom at the national zoo in Washington DC!  These fixtures are women's urinals and were released from the 1950s until the 1970s.  It uses 8 gallons of water per flush!  Unfortunately there are only a few of these scattered across the country now, and I assume that they will eventually all go, so see 'em while you can!  ~Libby"  Thanks to you, we can ALL see them.  Just how we like our submissions -sent in by knowledgeable volunteers!
